Catching Up :)

Blog summary about to happen!  Hold on while I run you through a mini catch up!!!

So how is my new resolution going?  I would say fantastic!  Still going strong :)   I have completely changed how and what I’m eating.  What I’m basically doing is eating nothing but the “World’s Healthiest Foods”.  This is based largely on a Mediterranean diet (fruits, lots of vegetables,  legumes, chicken, seafood, lean type meats).  A good friend of mine directed me to the website http://www.whfoods.com and there you will find all kinds of information on these fruits, vegetables, etc as well as really great recipes.

Prior to this I was counting my calories and doing really well with it.  I had lost 11-12 pounds since January.  Since I’ve changed to this diet two weeks ago, I’ve lost 2 pounds, which isn’t bad.  Yea me!

I’m trying to stay more organized and my calendar that I bought (see last post) is working great.  I didn’t really get into the workflow website.  I’m sure it works great for many but I really need things right in front of me and not on a computer.

On the knitting front I finished Anna’s sweater and look, it has buttons! I had finished the sweater completely except the buttons and found out that those buttons just won’t magically jump on there!  So I pushed myself to sew them on.  I know, I know it’s just buttons, but I’d rather knit then sew!  Anyhow, I think it came out really cute :)

How do you like my model?  Isn’t she a little diva!  I just about cracked up when she kept posing like this.  Oh and by the way I think Anna taught Angelina Jolie her pose for the Oscar’s :)   I took this photo well before then!

Now I’ve cast on this -

A cute men’s sweater pattern that I have purchased from verypink.com.  I love this pattern so far!  Staci’s patterns come with videos, and I find this to be a big help since I learn best by watching and that is what you get with her patterns.  If you haven’t ever read her blog, check it out.  I love it!

Soap central:

I’m working today on creating lip balms for my shop so stay tuned, photos to appear by next weekend! We just finished off with a great February and so far March is pretty good.  We had our large “blow out” sale and reduced a good bit of our stock so I could make room for new soaps for the spring.

There are plans in the works for a new, all natural soap for our cold process line with lavender and geranium rose essential oils and naturally colored with rosehips powder.  Will have to wait until April for the soap to cure.  I find that the hardest part, sit and wait but I love to take quick sniffs! Ah!

Well that is it for the quick and crazy summary blog post!  Sorry if you are a bit dizzy from all that!  Perhaps this will help?
